Malawi piquante pepper is a perennial Capsicum baccatum, discovered in the province of Limpopo in South Africa in 1993. The plant exceeds 3 meters in height and width. The flowers are white. It is incredibly prolific of fruits that reach a diameter of about 1.5 cm of bright red when ripe. The fruit, first deprived of the seeds to further reduce its spiciness.
