Not so much to say about peppers. They were introduced in Italy by Christopher Columbus after he had discovered America. These colourful and smelly veggies are a great ingridiens to serve with red meat, poultry, salads but also with pasta or noodles and with a slice of bread. That is the reason why we also tried to add them in the Tarallanti dough. We knew that this combination would have been a great one: two delicate tastes playing in the same recipe.
